Murgado Automotive buys Mercedes-Benz, Ford-Lincoln stores in two states

Murgado Automotive Group, of Miami, has grown by three dealerships in two states since July.

In California, Murgado Automotive bought Mercedes-Benz of Foothill Ranch and Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel from Mission Imports and Pat Bolter. The deal closed July 2. The stores retained their names.

“We were extremely excited about this opportunity and the iconic dealerships’ locations and look forward to growing the brand and building lifetime clients,” Mario Murgado said in a statement.

Kerrigan Advisors, a dealership sell-side firm in Incline Village, Nev., advised the seller in that transaction.

Murgado Automotive ranks No. 86 on Automotive News’ list of the top 150 dealership groups based in the U.S., retailing 13,064 new vehicles in 2023. Fox Motors ranks No. 50, retailing 19,844 new vehicles in 2023.
